Yea, what's the deal people? I'm the Crossfader Controller DjDeStar (Darien Currin)

My journey to become a deejay begins in Baltimore, Maryland. From an early age, I've been influenced by music played on the radio during the late 70's and the way deejays blended music from one song to the next.

I went to my first house party at age 13, giving me an opportunity to see a live deejay mix. At that point, I decided that I wanted to become a deejay and entertain large crowds of people.

As a teen in high school, I began buying records, and going to other deejays' houses where I learned to mix music using their equipment.

While in college at Morgan State University, I managed to purchase my own deejay equipment. I began making mix tapes, and working a wide range of events around Baltimore City. Over the next several years, I continued to expand my name recognition, using different venues up and down the East Coast, from New York to Atlanta, and several states in between.

Today, I currently deejay at various radio stations and night clubs in the mid-Atlantic region. I own a mobile deejay service (All Star Deejays) which is based in the Baltimore Metropolitan area.
